Classic Jaguar XK120 restoration
Jaguar Land Rover Classic recently had the privilege of working closely with renowned British model and life-long Jaguar enthusiast David Gandy. Our bespoke specialists meticulously restored his XK120 – following a search for the ideal 1954 base car in California, US – and presented it in a special handover before its inaugural drive to the Monaco ePrix.
The 11-month XK120 restoration project took place at our Classic Works facility, where our expert team poured over 2,700 hours of skill, craftsmanship and acute attention to detail into realising Gandy’s dream car. From an upgraded engine to custom interior touches, the base car was transformed into a race-ready vehicle, inspired by the XK120 Lightweight.
