LR077684 - Land Rover Seal-Rear Door
Land Rover Defender Right‑Hand Rear Side Door Seal – LR077684 (110/130 Station Wagon & Utility)
LR077684 is the right‑hand rear side door aperture seal fitted to Land Rover Defender 110 and 130 models, covering vehicles from early Defender L316 production through to the end of manufacture in 2016. Installed around the perimeter of the rear side door opening, this moulded rubber seal forms the primary weather barrier between the rear passenger door and the door frame, preventing water ingress, dust penetration and wind noise within the cabin. Supplied in extruded EPDM rubber with factory‑formed corners, LR077684 is designed to compress uniformly against the door when closed, ensuring correct sealing pressure and maintaining body aperture integrity. Genuine Land Rover variants follow the OE profile with precise moulded transitions and a consistent durometer rating to provide optimal closure feel and long‑term resilience. The seal is supplied as a single continuous loop for the right‑hand side rear door and is compatible with both utility and station wagon trim configurations.
This component supersedes several earlier Defender door‑seal part numbers, including ALR4938, CFE103320, CFE103000, CFE103001, LR024956, LR037348, LR038749, and LR044309, consolidating multiple historic profiles into the current late‑model specification.
LR077684 fits all Defender 110 and 130 wheelbase vehicles equipped with a right‑hand rear side door, including Station Wagon, Utility Wagon, Double Cab, and Crew Cab variants. It is a routine replacement where original seals have flattened, split, or absorbed moisture. Common symptoms include water ingress into the footwell or rear passenger area, difficulty closing the door due to seal swelling, and increased wind noise caused by gaps along the aperture. Replacement restores correct sealing performance and improves both acoustic comfort and weather protection.
