Land Rover Defender Rear Load/Tail Door Assembly – LR075816 (2002-2016)

LR075816 is the rear load/tail door assembly used on Land Rover Defender 90 and 110 models from 2002 through the end of L316 production in 2016, covering both hard‑top and station‑wagon body styles. This unglazed tail door forms the complete outer closure for the rear load aperture and provides the structural mounting base for all associated hardware including hinges, latching components, reinforcement brackets and interior trim.

Manufactured as a full door shell, LR075816 is supplied without hinges and is designed to accept the vehicle’s existing hinge assemblies, lock mechanism, spare‑wheel carrier (where fitted), internal bracing, and perimeter weather seals. The door features pre‑formed hinge mounts and latch interfaces, pressed to match the Defender’s rear body aperture geometry.
