Land Rover Front Anti‑Roll Bar - LR033037 (Defender 90/110/130, Discovery 1, Range Rover Classic)

LR033037 is the front anti‑roll (stabiliser) bar used across a wide range of Land Rover platforms, including Defender 90, 110 and 130 models, Discovery 1, and Range Rover Classic vehicles. Originally replacing the earlier Anti-roll bar NTC6837, LR033037 forms a key part of the front‑suspension geometry, controlling body roll during cornering and enhancing on‑road stability.

LR033037 appears on vehicles from the late 1980s through to the final years of traditional L316 Defender production, and is fitted to multiple chassis VIN ranges across Defender, Discovery 1 and Range Rover Classic platforms. Its function is to reduce lateral chassis roll under steering load, maintaining predictable handling while preserving the compliant ride quality expected of Land Rover’s long‑travel suspension systems.

This bar is frequently replaced during suspension refurbishments where original bars have corroded, fatigued, or become distorted from off‑road impacts. Ensuring the correct stabiliser‑bar specification is vital: an under‑spec or mis‑profiled bar can alter steering response, compromise alignment of link rods, or reduce the suspension’s ability to track consistently across uneven surfaces. Genuine‑pattern LR033037 bars retain the correct diameter, bend geometry and mounting‑face spacing required for reliable integration with OE bushes, brackets and chassis mounts.

Suitable for Defender 90/110/130, Discovery I and Range Rover Classic applications, LR033037 remains the correct front anti‑roll bar whenever a factory‑accurate suspension restoration or handling‑improvement programme is required.
